Posted Road Information

Each spring, the City posts certain roads to protect them during the seasonal thaw. When roadbeds become saturated, they cannot support heavy loads without damage. Trucks over 23,000 GVW are restricted from traveling on posted roads until conditions improve, typically in late spring.

The following roads will be posted from February 24 through May 1.

 

  • Whiskeag Road- from Ridge Road to Oak Grove Avenue
  • North Bath Road- from Whiskeag Road to Ridge Road
  • Ridge Road-from Old Brunswick Road to North Bath Road
  • Varney Mill Road- from North Bath Road to West Chops Point Road
  • High Street- from Winnegance to West Bath town line
  • Mill Pond Drive
