Starting July 29, High Street at Denny Road will be closed to all traffic for the sewer interceptor installation as part of the Harward Street Pump Station and Sewer Interceptor Upgrade.Detour routes will be in place and clearly marked with signage — please follow posted DETOUR signs in the area.Several streets will be closed to thru traffic but remain open for local access.
On street parking may be disrupted in the project area; alternate parking can be found in the municipal lot on Water St, on street parking along Front St north of the project area, and along Commercial St.
Meets as needed. This is a standing committee. Appointments are made by the Council Chairperson. Terms are indefinite.
The City of Bath Recognition Committee invites nominations for the dedication of public facilities (parks, buildings, benches, statues, etc.) operated for the benefit of the community. Submissions should reflect the naming criteria below and follow our established process.
Process
Complete the Nomination Form and submit to the City Manager’s Office, addressed to the Recognition Committee. Receipt will be acknowledged by the Committee Chair.
Public notice of the proposed naming will be placed prior to final Committee vote, allowing for public input. The Committee’s decision is final. Minutes and outcomes are reported to the City Council of Bath, Maine and maintained in Committee records.
Final naming is intended to be permanent: changes will only be considered under exceptional circumstances.
