Solid Waste Advisory Committee

The Solid Waste Advisory Committee advises the City on waste reduction, recycling, and disposal practices. The committee reviews policies, programs, and community education efforts to promote sustainable waste management and support Bath’s environmental goals.

 

Mission

To assist the City Council and city staff in evaluating all solid waste and recycling functions of the City of Bath; to understand the state of the markets for disposal and recycling of solid waste; to guide the City to reach environmental goals in its handling of solid waste and recycled materials; and to make recommendations to the City Council regarding those functions.
