The City of Bath, Maine is seeking qualified licensed arborists, and/or tree service firms to support the implementation of its Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) Urban Forest Resilience and Canopy Restoration Project, funded through the Maine Forest Service’s Project Canopy Urban & Community Forestry Restoration Grant Program.

The purpose of this project is to proactively manage ash tree loss due to EAB infestation, restore and expand Bath’s urban tree canopy, and build long-term capacity for climate-resilient urban forest management.

Bid Submission Requirements

Proposals shall include:

  1. Cover Letter
  2. Firm Qualifications & Experience
    • Proposer must be a Maine Licensed Arborist. Preference given to those with ISA certification.
    • Proposer must have a licensed pesticide applicator for tree injections.
    • Proven experience in municipal tree management and EAB programs (provide 3 references)
