Elections

Election Day voting is held at the Bath Middle School, 6 Old Brunswick Road. Polls are open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.Besides Election Day, Bath voters can vote early by absentee ballot. Applications for an absentee ballot will be available three months prior to the election. Absentee ballots will be available 30 days prior to Election Day.

Voter Registration is available for new voters or for existing Bath voters to change their address or name either at the Bath Middle School on Election Day or the City Clerk's office during regular business hours.

Poll workers can help you with how to vote, not who or what to vote for.
They can:

• Explain how to mark your ballot correctly.

• Show you how to use the voting machine.

• Tell you where to find information printed on your ballot (like instructions or candidate order).

• Help if you make a mistake and need a new ballot.

• Explain your rights as a voter and what to do if you’re at the wrong polling place.

They cannot tell you which candidates or ballot questions to choose, discuss political opinions, or influence your decisions in any way.
