This is a FULL CLOSURE of High St at this location and will require traffic to detour via the following routes:• Large truck detour: Washington St to Webber Ave to High St from Route 1 and reverse order from Phippsburg (red route on attached Detour Map)• Cars/Small Vehicle Detour: South Bound – South St to Washington St to Pine St and reverse order North Bound (blue route on attached Detour Map)
Starting July 29, High Street at Denny Road will be closed to all traffic for the sewer interceptor installation as part of the Harward Street Pump Station and Sewer Interceptor Upgrade.Detour routes will be in place and clearly marked with signage — please follow posted DETOUR signs in the area.Several streets will be closed to thru traffic but remain open for local access.
On street parking may be disrupted in the project area; alternate parking can be found in the municipal lot on Water St, on street parking along Front St north of the project area, and along Commercial St.
