Safely dispose of common household products that may be flammable, corrosive, reactive, or toxic, including paints, cleaners, oils, batteries, and pesticides. Do not pour these materials down drains, on the ground, into storm drains, or place them in household trash.

Pre-registration is required and opens Monday, April 13.

Open to residents of Bath, Woolwich, Arrowsic and Georgetown with proof of residency. Commercial waste is not accepted.

How do I transport hazardous materials?

  • Leave materials in original containers.

  • Tighten caps and lids.

  • Sort and pack separately: oil paint, pesticides, and household cleaners.

  • Pack containers in sturdy upright boxes and pad with newspaper.

  • NEVER MIX CHEMICALS.

  • Pack your car and drive directly to the site.

  • NEVER SMOKE while handling hazardous material.

Do I need to be a resident?

You may be required to provide proof of residency. Registration is first come, first serve to residents of Bath, Woolwich, Arrowsic, and Georgetown.
