About the Meeting
The City of Bath, in partnership with MaineDOT and neighboring communities, is hosting an interactive public meeting to help inform the Androscoggin to Kennebec (A2K) Trail study. This meeting will gather feedback on a proposed bicycle and pedestrian connection between Brunswick, West Bath, and Bath.
After a brief presentation from the project team, attendees can visit workshop stations to learn more and share input on:
- Safety
- Trail connectivity
- Trail amenities
- Trail design
- Potential routes
- General comments
Project Overview
MaineDOT and municipal partners are evaluating possible trail routes, including Old Bath Road, Route 1, and Bath Road, along with design elements and feasibility constraints. The goal is to prepare for future funding opportunities that could support development of a multi-use trail connection between Brunswick and Bath.

Trolley Rides
The City of Bath is providing free trolley rides to and from the meeting for Bath residents. Space is limited, and advance sign-up is required.
