High Street Project Work

The Bath Public Works Department will soon be starting two projects on High St.

The first to start on approx. July 18 will be a storm drain improvement between Denny Rd. and Park St.  A new storm drain will be installed along the west side of the road. This project will last about one month depending on weather.

The second will start on approx. August 1 and will be a replacement of a series of retaining walls along the east side of High St. between Oliver St. and West Milan St. This project will last about two months depending on weather.

It is not anticipated that either project will require the full closure or detour of High St. for extended periods. There will be short periods when building materials will be moved with heavy equipment, and during the paving operation, when traffic may be temporarily stopped.

For more information and project details, please visit the High Street Projects project page

Storm Water Separation Project on Meadow Way

The City of Bath will be starting a storm water separation project on Meadow Way, beginning the week of May 16 and continuing, weather permitting, for 4-5 weeks. Any necessary repaving should be completed by the end of the summer. Our crews will only be digging in the street, and residents will have access to their driveways. Residents may experience noise and dust while the project is underway.

We ask for your patience and understanding as we make these necessary improvements to Bath’s infrastructure.
