Economic and Community Development
The Economic and Community Development Office is responsible for research, application and administration of a majority of the City's grants and serves under the City Manager.
Duties include:
- Improve the City through community involvement and investments in affordable housing, neighborhood renewal, public infrastructure and facilities, and downtown revitalization.
- Assist with securing economic development opportunities through the management of City owned and managed properties.
- Manage nearly $1 million in Brownfields Revolving Loan Funds that have been awarded to the City by the United States Environmental Protection Agency for the assessment and clean up of Brownfields sites.
