65 Bowery St Project



The former Stinson Cannery site has been vacant for nearly two decades. 


In 2023, The Cannery Group, LLC acquired the property and began working with the City of Bath to explore redevelopment opportunities.  Through the City’s brownfields assessment program, the Cannery Group and City began to work together to assess environmental conditions and site constraints and planning for redevelopment.

 

As part of the Brownfield work, Richardson & Associates was contracted to assist in developing early visioning concepts and high-level site conceptual site planning to help the developer better understand development potential on the site, working within existing constraints of the property. As part of this work, the developer has invited the community to engage in this visioning process and to provide input through a neighborhood meeting, two public meetings and by participating in the survey.
