Upcoming City Council Election

A Season for Change- A Message from Councilor Phyllis Bailey

It has been my privilege to serve the people of Bath and especially Ward 1 on Bath’s City Council these past six years.  I am looking forward to serving until the end of December, but am not planning to seek re-election. It is time to turn my attention more to my family.  And there are some issues that continue to interest me such as the ‘longevity economy’ and livable communities for a lifetime I’d like to explore more.

I have been heartened by the caliber of people who have contacted me about running for this seat and I encourage residents to step forward into public service.

Our community’s physical and social infrastructure need your brains and effort.   Who knew I would learn so much about water treatment and sewers, budgets, lifespan housing, planning for the future, and climate resilience among many things!  Bring your commitment and drive to this chance to serve your city

Thank you for the opportunity to serve,

Phyllis Bailey

Ward 1, Bath City Council
